Cabinet of Curiosities

This custom new-construction townhouse in the Village District of Raleigh, North Carolina, was conceived as a cohesive project from ground-up construction through final styling and furnishings. Architectural finishes and materials were selected as part of the original build, with furniture, lighting, and accessories layered thoughtfully to complete the home. Color, pattern, and a collected mix of details give each room its own personality through intentional combinations of surfaces, textures, and form. Sculptural elements and custom pieces reference the idea of a traditional cabinet of curiosities—spaces designed to spark interest and invite a closer look. The result is a home that feels personal, expressive, and comfortable for everyday living.
