About Roux MacNeill + Our Interior Designers

Roux MacNeill Studio is a Raleigh-based interior design studio working nationally. We design interiors that balance comfort, livability, and refinement.

Our work begins with how our clients actually live, prioritizing thoughtful layouts, materiality, and ease alongside visual impact. Through close collaboration with clients, builders, and architects, we create interiors that feel cohesive, layered, and deeply personal—designed to live well over time, not just for the moment they’re photographed.

Robert MacNeill

Interior Designer, Co-Founder

Robert approaches interior design with an architectural foundation and a strong sense of narrative. Trained as an architect, he brings a disciplined understanding of space, proportion, and materiality to every project—balancing structure with warmth and clarity with personality.

Before co-founding Roux MacNeill Studio, Robert worked with architecture firms in Philadelphia and Chicago, and later joined a leading interior design team in Raleigh, where he led projects ranging from airport terminals and restaurants to private residences. This breadth of experience allows him to move fluidly between styles and scales, tailoring each space to its context while maintaining a refined, cohesive vision.

Robert holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in a 100-year-old loft in downtown Raleigh with his husband, Paul, and their two cats. He draws ongoing inspiration from regular trips to New York City and from his deep involvement in the arts, serving as a Trustee of the North Carolina Symphony.

“Rob has done an amazing job leading the transformation of my home. It's beyond what I'd imagined would be possible.”

Brittany Roux

Interior Designer, Co-Founder

Brittany’s approach to interior design is rooted in the belief that home should make you happy. For her, interiors are ultimately about the people who live in them and the stories that unfold there. She has a natural talent for mastering the mix of fabrics, rugs, and finishes that make each project feel personal and thoughtfully layered.

She grew up in the construction industry as the daughter of a home builder in Central Illinois, which gave her an early understanding of how homes come together from the ground up. In 2006, Brittany moved to the Triangle for an internship with a leading design firm in Raleigh and has called the area home ever since.

Brittany holds a degree in Interior Design from Brigham Young University–Idaho. Outside of the studio, her obsessions include trying new restaurants, arranging flowers, and scrolling Instagram for inspiration. She and her husband, Sean, live in Wendell Falls with their daughter, Lila, and their dog, Whiskey.

“Brittany really knew how far to move me out of my comfort zone to a much more welcoming entertaining space. Friends and family alike are still in disbelief of the transformation.”

Rebecca Turk

Studio Operations & Procurement Coordinator

Rebecca’s style is best described as traditional with a funky, colorful twist—balancing timeless design with playful personality and unexpected details. Her favorite part of the design process is curating fabrics and wallpapers at the start of a project and watching the vision come to life.

She studied Fashion Merchandising and Business Marketing at Meredith College, and her passion for textiles was further shaped during six years working at a local fabric showroom. As the point person for procurement of custom furnishings and accessories, Rebecca plays a key role in keeping projects running smoothly while ensuring clients receive exceptional care throughout the process.

Outside of the studio, Rebecca enjoys gardening, cooking, and weekend adventures with her family. She and her husband, Andrew, live in Raleigh with their two sons, Charlie and Austin, and their dog, Khaleesi. As a family, they love spending time outdoors and traveling whenever possible.

“You could not be in better hands. Trust the process, make it a true partnership, and enjoy!”
